Polymer Clay 'Clay All Day' Earring making event - Floral Slabs 17 June 2023

Polymer Clay ALL DAY jewellery making workshop on the Sunshine Coast.

Sunny Coast Beads presents 'Clay-All-Day', the event that YOU have asked for, because you want to play with clay ALL DAY and you wanted to create, finish and wear all your earrings straight away.

What will I be doing in this workshop?

• Choose to create 1 of 2 floral polymer clay slabs over a relaxing 2 hours
• Cut and shape your slab into earring components
• Bake
• Finish - Sand, drill, clean & wipe
• Resin dome - if you choose
• Assemble using earring findings
• Add more touches - Full access to the SCB Bead bar to embellish as you choose

What polymer clay slab technique's will you be showcasing?

Floral Meadow

• Learn how to paint with clay on your floral slab canvas
• Work with the clay slowly and effortlessly to create tiny details to build and layer
  
• Mix your own palette using a variety of colours
  

Petal power

• Learn the skill of free hand shape cutting
• Work with tools to create beautiful textures and detail to lift your slab design
• Mix your own palette using a variety of colours
  

The Agenda

  9.30am - 10.00am : Floral Meadow painting with clay techniques
10.00am - 10.30am : Petal Power free hand shape cutting and texture techniques
10.30am - 12.30pm : Slab creation time
12.30pm - 1.30pm : Bake 
12.30pm - 1.30pm : Lunch (provided)
1.30pm - 3.00pm : Finishing : Resin application, Sanding, drilling, cleaning components
3.00pm - 4.00pm : Earring assembly 
4.00pm - 4.30pm : Champagne, celebrations and photo's.

- Maximum of 12 students for this workshop
- Only open to students who have attended any of 3 SCB beginners polymer clay classes
- Morning and afternoon coffee and lunch provided

Location: SheShed, 97 Aerodrome Road, Maroochydore

Please note: This workshop is not a beginners class and open to creatives who are familiar with polymer clay. If you have attended any of the beginner workshops Polymer Clay Skill Share, Polymer Silkscreen & Resin or Polymer Clay Marble you are welcome to register for this class. If you haven't attended any of these classes, please contact us. Our aim is to ensure we have the same skill set at this workshop - to focus on technique based questions.
